SCARY, WHY IS DIS SCARY AUNT SUKI???

Hawoo puppies and kitties, it's me the big Yakster!

Aunt Suki said I wuz goin to show woo some scary photos but I couldn't find any! I didn't think dey wuz scary anyway.

I'd like to take woo on a little journey, come along wif me, Captain Kodiak. We'll start off on my big boat ~ dis is da view lookin back to da coast in Redcliffe, Brisbane.....


Along da way we spot some udder boats.....



Dis boat looks like it's got lotsa big boxes on it.....

Right now we are goin past a cool island resort dat has some old shipwrecks right dere on da beach, I wonder if deres pirates livin on dem.....

Dere is even people dat live on da island, see dere houses?

Da sun is out.....and dere is a lady on da boat wif us dat has a big fluffy jacket on ~ does she know we in Australia, not Alaska?

What's dat way out dere in da water ~ why it's a friendly dolphin!!!

Oh my dogness ~ dat looks like.....no it can't be......two big ole whales!!! Dey call dem pods of whales, not sure why cause dey ain't in a pod like peas and udder things. Now I think about it neither are Paw and Aunt Summer but Mom still says dey like two peas in a pod ~ maybe dey related to da whales???

Here dey are again......saying HELLO in whale talk to us.....

Dis one said HELLO and SMILED at us at da same time!!!

What do we have here ~ two more big ole whales!!! You'd think we were....oh dats right efuryone ~ I did forgets to tell woo dat we are on a whale watching tour!!!

Dey look so gracious (according to Maw anyways, I don't know what dat means) and look how woo can see dem under da water.....

Here's a purtty tale of a whale.....I mean tail.....

If woo zoom in real close to dis tail woo can see little thingees growin offa his tail!!!

What do woo think dis is? Is it da whales backbone? It's all bumpy.....

Hey dis fella is wavin at us!!!

Now he's flippin his tail up in da air saying 'CATCHA LATER!'.....

Do woo see that greasy, oily lookin stuff on da water? Dey call dis a footprint.....how can da whales leave footprints when dey don't have feety feets???

It's time to head back to land efuryone, I hope woo had a whale of a time on da whale watchin cruise!!! Next time I think we should go fur a swim with dem!!!

'AI' AND SURFERS PARADISE!!!

Hi efurydoggy, it's me Sesuk!


I'm not living at home at the moment, something about me being too tempting for Princey and Kodiak??? Anywoo, apparently I have to save myself fur what Mom calls 'AI'. Does anydoggy know what that means? Mom said we might be making a trip up to Christchurch (about a 7 hour drive away fur those of woo that aren't so familiar with Kiwiland), they are waiting on me to decide when the time is right. Seems like this 'AI' thing is purtty important cause I've been to the VET five, YES FIVE, times in the couple of weeks. Each time the VET sticks a needle into my neck and draws out some of my blood, I wonder what they want that fur?


Now onto something I do understand.....these are some cool photos Mom took when she abandoned us and went to Australia last month. She said they stayed at a real nice place called Surfers Paradise fur a few nights. I'm going to let her put some words above the photos so woo know what they are.

These are some of the friendly ducks that were hanging out on the canal.....


and these are the very friendly black geese that visited us one night. I was able to hand feed them, they were quite tame (either that or they really liked me!). They munched their way through some of our bread and hung around for ages.

This is a place called Draculas, they put on fantastic cabaret shows ~ very entertaining! Jan and I had a lovely meal and sat back and had some yummy cocktails while we watched the show.....
