Haroo efurypupper, it's me again!

I wanted to show woo something that has been bothering me since I went to the VET last week! On Friday two of my puppers ~ Kodiak and Qannik ~ went to the VET for their final vaccinations and to get microchipped. Mom told me I was coming too, I thought I was SOOOO lucky getting to go along fur support for the boys!

I was fury excited when we got out of the truck at and bowled on inside the door.....then I thought 'hang on, what if I'm here fur another reason?'. I slowed up a bit but it was too late cause I was already inside.

The boys got their vaccinations and microchips (and Kodiak got his suspected heart murmor checked out again.....VET couldn't hear anything unusual!). They didn't even make a noise when the big microchip needles went in!

Then the VET got the clippers out and asked Mom to hold me still. He shaved some fur from my back ~ 'what is he doing?' I wondered. I then realised he was exposing my special lump. I got lifted up onto the big table and the VET started putting needles in me! There were five in total and he pushed each one in and out and all around and tried to get stuff out of my lump. Mom told me later he was taking needle biopsies to try and help find out what is causing my lump.

Do woo see the bruised part at the back of my shaved area in the photo? That's where the last needle went in and it was fury uncomfortable.....I was brave and didn't make any noises ~ didn't want the boys to think their 'Paw' was a bit soft. If woo look real close woo can see the front half of my lump (where the bruise is). The VET pulled my skin back tight when he was taking the biopsies so that he got the back half of my lump too (it's still covered in fur)! Me thinks the VET is not too good at shaving the fur from my lump!

The VET phoned Mom a couple of days later with the results ~ just muscle and fat were in the samples he took from me. Mom said she has to decide if I have an operation to take a proper biopsy and remove the lump. I don't know why she's so worried, it didn't bother me until the VET took some of my fur off! Now it's all itchy and sensitive and makes me squirm, shake and shudder.
Little Kodiak has something he wants to tell woo all about so I better go now and let him start typing his blog post.....might take a while, especially with his big fat paw (please note that's paw with a little 'p', not Paw as in me)! I just gave woo all a clue about his post by the way!

Glad to hear the results came out well. Nikita used to get those and Rusty does too and they just get to keep them.

John had one of those biopsy thingies too. His came back ok as well. I am happy for you ok lump. I am sad for your fur. A furless spot is a bad thing. I hope it grows back quick! At least you don't look like apoodle.

We are so happy that the results were good!

Lucie hates needles and screams when she gets shots!

I'm glad it's just muscle and fat. I'll cross my paws that you don't have to get any more needles or shaving.
